Harshita is a member and captain of Mason High School's three-time Varsity Tennis State Championship team, contributing to the school's impressive seven-year championship streak. Her leadership has played a pivotal role in the team’s success. The team was recognized by state representatives, honored at the Cincinnati Open and a Cincinnati Reds game for their achievements, and acknowledged by the school board all three years of Harshita's high school tenure, culminating in the prestigious ESPY Ring of Honor

Harshita contributed to the team’s achievement of 8th place at the National Chess Championship. The team also excelled at the Greater Miami Conference (GMC) Regionals and the State Chess Championship, showcasing strategic thinking and teamwork.
Harshita, a passionate advocate for those affected by cancer, received the Cincinnati Hero Award in recognition of her impactful efforts. Motivated by the loss of a schoolmate to acute myeloid leukemia (AML), she organized fundraising events that raised over $170,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and earned her the LLS Hero Award in both 2022 and 2023. Additionally, she authored the mystery fiction book Hidden Secrets, which added $1,500 to the cause, and secured two research grants in her schoolmate’s name, supporting pediatric cancer research.
Harshita received the LLS 2023 Patient Support Mission Pillar Scholarship in recognition of her commitment to improving patient support services and advocating for accessible healthcare solutions, a mission she is deeply passionate about.
