I’ve been practicing taekwondo for over ten years and recently earned my first-degree black belt. Now I’m training for my second-degree black belt. This journey has taught me so much about perseverance and strength. Achieving my black belt feels like a huge accomplishment—it reminds me that I can stand up for myself and tackle tough challenges head-on. There were times when I thought about giving up, but I pushed through and learned how much dedication it takes.
As I progressed, I participated in regional tournaments and won several awards, which further fueled my passion for taekwondo. Now, as a first-degree black belt, I get to teach others, which is really rewarding. It’s a chance for me to share what I’ve learned and also to learn from my students. The friendships I’ve built along the way mean a lot to me. I look forward to the new skills and techniques I’ll learn as I continue my training. Each step I take in taekwondo reminds me of the power of hard work and determination.
